When it comes to loyalty, no one can beat dogs. They are known for their faithfulness. This is proven here by this loyal dog who, despite being rejected by his owner, made an attempt to return home.
To meet her master, this loyal dog traveled 125 miles with tears in her eyes. But this did not deter her. This Bullmastiff “Maru” walked through the Russian forests full of brown bears and wolves.
Maru was sent back on the Trans-Siberian train to the place where she was born. Her hardships began when her owner in Krasnoyarsk found that she was allergic to their adorable 1-year-old pet, and so it was decided that Maru was no longer needed there.
But the innocent and loyal Maru escaped when the train returning to the place of her birth stopped at the remote station near Achinsk.
Maru used her paws to open the compartment of the train and then went to the owner who abandoned her. Train staff searched for the pet, even calling its name on the platform, but they got no information about the dog. Kennel owner Alla Morozova, who lives in the city of Novosibirsk, made a search for the lost Bullmastiff and even begged on social networks for information.
Two and a half days later, the exhausted and injured dog was in an industrial area near his home. According to Alla, the rejected dog appeared to have tears in his eyes. She had passed the Trans-Siberian Railroad and traveled 125 miles through the wilderness.
The tired pet fell on a railway embankment in Krasnoyarsk and was found and recognized thanks to the social media campaign. Alla said the dog was very lucky because it didn’t become a meal for bears and wolves in the area. She stated that the dog was extremely tired and limping as his paws were injured and bleeding.
Trained staff later recounted that a dog suffered a panic attack and when the train stopped it jumped like a bullet from the compartment door.
Alla was surprised by the dog’s navigation skills, but she was convinced that he would reach the old house. She said that dogs are very attached to people and that she was also looking for her home, she wants to go back to where she lived.
Maru was on the right track geographically she had no knowledge of places. Alla was quite upset that the owner who rejected the dog did not even join the search for the lost animal. Maru is sent to Novosibirsk and receives treatment for her injuries.
The animal was reunited with her owners who live in Novosibirsk. To date, no decision has been made regarding the dog’s future.
