We really don’t deserve dogs. Even in the saddest and most painful moments of their lives, they still show us love and companionship. Sometimes dogs will even be loyal to a human they have never met before. But maybe they can tell when someone has a good heart.
A woman extended her kindness to two dogs who had no one to care for them. Instead of being scared or aggressive, one of the dogs stepped forward and showed compassion instead. It was as if he knew she had saved his life and wanted to thank her for it.
As a woman drove past an empty road, she saw a horrifying sight. Two dogs were outside in the heat, tied with 2-foot chains. No one was around and the dogs seemed distressed. However, the woman assumed that their human had just kept them out for a little while and everything would be fine. So she drove home.
But the thought of the two frightened dogs haunted her. She couldn’t sleep because she was so worried that the dogs had been abandoned like that. The next day, he went back to the dogs just to make sure they were safe. But unfortunately, both canines were still tied in the same place, looking even more crushed than before. They looked starving, dehydrated and close to death.
Without hesitation, the woman rescued the dogs and brought them into the car. He couldn’t let them sit outside alone for even a minute. Once the dogs were relaxed in the vehicle, she left but couldn’t control her emotions. He burst into tears at the thought that someone would leave these dogs alone like this. But to her surprise, the dog in the passenger seat was there to comfort her. Instead of being horrified and confused, he was simply grateful for her selfless actions.
As the woman sobbed on her way home, she recorded a video of the sweet dog sitting next to her. She pet the dog and tells him it’s okay by sniffing. But to her surprise, the dog grabbed her arm in response. It looks like he’s holding her hand to comfort her and say thank you.
Whenever she takes her hand off the dog, he pulls it back and happily lets her pet him some more. He seems so comfortable around her, like he’s known her all his life. Somehow, this brave dog knows he is safe now. As she cries more, he even climbs into her lap with his tail wagging.
This heartwarming video quickly went viral for all the right reasons. While this woman was extending her kindness to dogs in need, one of those dogs was giving her lots of love in return. Dogs seem to sense a good person, so this adorable pup probably knew he was finally safe.
