Here’s an inspiring story just in time for Christmas! Alone and in pain, an injured stray Pit Bull found a cozy spot to rest for the night by nestling in the hay of a Nativity Scene near the Village Square in Glendale, Cincinnati, right before Christmas in 2013. He slept soundly in the manger until a woman walking her dog noticed him.
Worried for the dog’s well-being, city officials ensured the dog received veterinary care. He was given the name Gabriel and experienced a very joyous outcome. Cincinnati Pit Crew came to his rescue and he spent Christmas cozily snuggled up with a foster family. A mere two months later, Gabriel found his forever home through adoption!
